On the morning of the November 1 2024, the delegation from the Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO), led by Mr. Ho Trong Tri – Deputy General Director, visited the newly appointed Management Officer – Mrs. Carolee Williamson.
At the meeting, both sides offered introductions on the working structure of each and discuss cooperative processes for the near future. The Consulate General expressed its satisfaction about FOSCO’s support in helping the Vietnamese staff working at the Consulate General with guaranteeing labor related welfare and provide reassurance in their work. Mrs. Williamson commit to introducing FOSCO’s services in office rentals; labor-related services; international pre-school and primary school education services to all of the Consulate General’s staff via the Department of Public Affairs as well as internal communications while also recommend FOSCO organize a training seminar on labor law and related necessary knowledge for the US Consulate General Staff.
On the occasion of important milestone of the Vietnam – USA relations in 2025, the Consulate General wishes for FOSCO to join in organizing meaningful exchange activities in the fields of culture, sports, charity to further bolster the friendship and cooperation between the two agencies.
On its part, FOSCO commit to continue offering quality labor services and request that the Consulate General introduce potential partners and customers to further develop the capacity of FOSCO International School. The work session ends with the exchange of gifts and a brief tour of the Consulate General’s facilities.
