FIS provides care and educational services for Kindergarten and Primary students (from 18 months to 11-years-old) are foreigners, Overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese living in Ho Chi Minh City.

Favorably facilitated by FOSCO, FIS was established and operated at Lot B, 40 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District.3. The spacious school campus is at a prime location in the center of the city which is a big advantage over other schools.

For new registrations, the registration fee will be waived (applied for the first 60 incoming students).

A discount of 15% for the 2nd child living in the same household.

A discount of 10% will be applied for tuition and registration fees for FOSCO tenants.

A discount of 25% will be applied towards the bus fee for two children in the same household and 40% for a 3rd child enrolled in bus services.

Our History

FOSCO is a state-owned enterprise, providing many services to diplomatic missions, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and economic organizations, foreigners in Ho Chi Minh City.

In order to fulfill the above missions as well as create favourable conditions for agencies and foreigners working and living in Ho Chi Minh City, in 1997, FOSCO started to implement an initiative “Provides a comprehensive educational development program in English for children 18 months of age and older.” Since then, FOSCO International School (FIS) was founded and became one of the earliest established international schools in Vietnam.

From the school year 2013-2014, FOSCO International School used a US program -COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS (CCSS), an international high-quality education standard program in the direction of “skills development and topic- focused education.”

Strengths

FIS not only help students experience a professional learning environment, interact with new cultures, but also make friends with other young children from all over the world which will improve their independence skills and growth after each trip. Moreover, FIS has many after-school clubs with the objective to introduce students to various skills. The school buses pick up/drop off students at their home address each school day in Ho Chi Minh City.

Curriculum

As a monolingual school where teaching and learning are conducted entirely in English, in addition to the CCSS curriculum following U.S. standards, there is also an enhanced English program, treating it as a second language.

The school also organizes overseas programs twice a year (winter study abroad & summer study abroad programs) in the US, UK, Japan, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
