On November 9 2024, at the Global City venue, Mdm. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang – General Director of FOSCO attended the opening of the the 28th International Charity Bazaar hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Consular Club.
The event attracted the participation from numerous diplomatic agencies, Consular offices, businesses and members of the international communities eager to contribute to charitable activities in Vietnam. This event is a meaningful activity that seek to assist project aiding economically challenged children and people in Vietnam in the spirit of kindness.
At the event, Mdm. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang has contributed 10 million VND to the charitable proceed of the Bazaar, highlighting FOSCO’s social responsibilities in community development, building solidarity not only through business activities but also via meaningful contributions to the society.
In her remarks at the event, Dr. Josefine Wallat, Consul-General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dean of the Consular Corps in Ho Chi Minh City offered her heartfelt welcome to General Director Nguyen Thi Huong Giang; For her part, Mdm. Milena Padula – Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Consular Club also expressed her gratitude for the constant assistance from Director Nguyen Thi Huong Giang in recent times.
The Charity Bazaar is an annual event hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Consular Club with the purpose of creating opportunities for cultural exchange and charitable fundraising. With the enthusiastic participation from businesses and agencies, the vent has become a bridge connecting the international community with their local counterpart, contributing meaningfully to the society’s sustainable development.
