(FOSCO) – From November 11 to 13 2024, the Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO) has jointly-organized with the District 1 People’s Committee the event “Diplomats can Run 2024” as a part of the “District 1 Midnight run” event
Attending the opening ceremony of the event were: Mr. Enrico Padula – Consul-General of the Republic of Italy to Ho Chi Minh City and his spouse Mme. Milena Padula – Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Consular Club; Mme. Ariadne Feo Labrada – Consul-General of the Republic of cuba to Ho Chi Minh City and spouse; Mr. Ruslan Varankou – Consul-General of the Republic of Belarus to Ho Chi Minh City and spouse; Mr. Ngo Phuong Nghij – General Director of the Service Department to the Diplomatic Corps – Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Major General Dang Khac Chat – Deputy General Director of the Department of Public Security; Mr. Tran Hieu – Director of the Center of Care for International Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Services (CIFA) of the Da Nang City Department of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Duy An – Deputy Chairman of the District 1 People’s Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee for “District 1 Midnight run”; Mr. Le Truong Duy – Provisional Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of External Relations along with representatives from Consular offices, representative offices of international business, organizations and non-governmental organizations in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event “Diplomats can Run 2024” was organized to augment the connection via sport exchange between Consul-Generals, Consular staff and the staff of diplomatic agencies in provinces and municipalities from the South, representative offices of international business, organizations and non-governmental organizations in Ho Chi Minh City.
Concerning the contributions towards the policies and initiatives of the People’s Committee of District 1specifically anf Ho Chi Minh City at large, the vent “Diplomats can Run 2024” has contributed to the development of nighttime entertainment and sports services by the City’s authorities; Promoting and emphasizing the importance of green living and environmental responsibilities; Furthermore, with its accompanying role, FOSCO also encourages the implementation of social responsibilities via the donation of a portion of the event’s proceed to the local Fund for the Poor.
After the wonderfully athletic displays of all runners on the track of “Diplomats can Run 2024” (as part of the 5km event of District 1 Midnight Run), the achievements of outstanding athletes are as follow
