On 20 November 2019 at FOSCO’s head office, General Director of FOSCO – Mr. Nguyen Tuong Minh greeted Mr. Andre Poznyak, the General Director of Saint-Peterburg State Unitary Enterprise for Service of Foreign Missions “Inpredservice” on his visit to FOSCO and other related agencies in Vietnam.
Attending the meeting were Madam Maria Mizonova – Deputy Consul General of the Russian Federation to HCM City and representatives from HCM City Department of External Relations.At the meeting, FOSCO’s General Director Nguyen Tuong Minh welcomed the Russian delegation and introduced FOSCO’s organizational structure, operation model, scope and mission to the guests of honor.General Director of FOSCO Nguyen Tuong Minh also expressed his wish to facilitate collaboration and experience exchange to improve service quality of both partners.In return, Mr. Andre Poznyak expressed his appreciation for FOSCO’s warm and caring welcome. The General Director also introduced organizational structure, operation model and service of diplomatic missions of Inpredservice in Saint-Peterburg.At the meeting, both sides discussed the collaboration between the two agencies in the near future. Mr. Andre Poznyak also sent his official invitation to FOSCO’s delegation to visit Saint-Peterburg next year.
Prior to the meeting, Inpredservice delegation had met and worked with the Service Department of Diplomatic Corps on 18 November 2019.Both sides support the idea of strengthening bilateral relation via frequent meetings between the two agencies in relevant to the Vietnam-Russia relationship. The two nations are in preparation for the Vietnam-Russia Cross Year event: Vietnam Year in Russia and Russia Year in Vietnam in 2019 and 2020 in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Treaty on basic principles for the bilateral friendship (1994-2019) and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam-Russia diplomatic ties (1950-2020) in order to enhance and consolidate the bilateral ties.
