On the evening of the 16th of March 2017, Mr. Hồ Trọng Trí – Deputy General Director of FOSCO attended and offered flowers at the Anniversary to Commemorate the Hungarian Revolution 1848-1849 organised by the Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary to HCMC.
Attending and giving a speech at the anniversary, Mr. Le Thanh Liem, First Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee, emphasized that “Vietnam and Hungary are the two countries that have had a good friendship and traditional relationship. Vietnam has always remembered the support that Hungary offered to Vietnam before during the years of fighting for its freedom and reunification as well as offers to Vietnam now as the country is building and developing in economics and society.” To the Consul General of Hungary to HCMC, “the City recognised and highly appreciates the positive effort of the Consul as he supports the enhancement of bilateral activities between the two countries and the City believes that “Consulate General of Hungary will continue to play the important part of being the bridge connecting many cooperative programs and projects between the 2 countries and thus contributing to strengthening the good friendship and traditional collaboration of Vietnam – Hungary.”
Giving the opening remarks, Mr. Tibor Baloghdi, Consul General of the Republic of Hungary to HCMC stated that Hugarian businesses really want to cooperate with partners in HCMC, focusing on the fields of water resources management, health care, transportation, agriculture, food safety and construction projects in HCMC, which are suitable with the development plans of HCMC.
