FOSCO School is pleased to announce the plans for its Summer Overseas Program this year. The school will be sending a group of students to the UK for an amazing two-week program (from July 8 to July 22, 2018). We carefully selected the program to give a unique mix of memorable experiences and interactions for our students.
Children will be staying at the beautiful Bedales School, which was founded in 1893 and is set within scenic countryside in the south of England. The school is not only one of the top independent schools in the UK, it’s also one of most creative and innovative co-educational boarding schools there and has fantastic modern facilities and accommodation.
Students will study, play and socialize with international students from around the world, including students who have already booked from France, Portugal, Italy, Poland and Spain. Children will be supervised by the teaching staff from our partners, Ardmore. One member of FIS staff will also attend to ensure the students have everything they need.
Each day the participants will spend around 3 hours studying on a specially tailored academic program, and the rest of the day is packed with activities and games.
The group will also have full day excursions to see all the famous sights of London, and a full-day tour of the seaside town of Brighton, with its picturesque Lanes area and the world-famous Brighton Sea Life Centre. There will also be half-day tours of several other local towns where they will interact with locals.
The program is open for all students aged 7 and above, and as usual we will also accept non-FIS students up to the age of 17. Call FIS Administration if you are interested in joining the trip to learn more and get answers for any questions you may have.
