(FOSCO) – On the afternoon of January 6, 2026, the Leadership of the Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO) received Mr. Chan Sorykan, Consul General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City, who paid a farewell call upon the conclusion of his tenure.

Addressing the visit held at the Stateroom, the Consul General expressed his profound gratitude to FOSCO for the effective provision of support services, particularly regarding Consular premises, which significantly facilitated the smooth functioning of the Consulate General throughout his tenure. Mr. Chan Sorykan highly evaluated FOSCO’s pivotal role and consistent efforts in assisting the consular mission. He noted that his tenure in Ho Chi Minh City, marked by frequent interactions with the Vietnamese people and FOSCO personnel, had provided valuable insights into people-to-people diplomacy and a deep sense of the solidarity shared between the two nations.

Responding to the Consul General’s remarks, Mr. Ho Trong Tri, Deputy General Director of FOSCO, reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to prioritizing support for the Cambodian Consulate General. He pledged to continue providing dedicated assistance in the upcoming period, specializes in leasing houses and villas,  staffing and employment and other services. FOSCO underscored that this effective cooperation stands as a vivid reflection to the strong bilateral ties, contributing to the enduring traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia, while expressing confidence in an increasingly close and substantive partnership in the future.

The farewell call took place in a cordial and open atmosphere, serving as a crucial occasion for FOSCO to further strengthen its cooperative relationship with the Cambodian Consulate General, one of the Company’s long-standing traditional partners. The visit concluded with the exchange of mementos and a commemorative photograph to mark the occasion.
