FOSCO Leaders attended the 27th Anniversary of the National Day of the Federation of Russia

On the evening of June 08, Chairman of  FOSCO Board of Members Ngô Anh Tuấn attended and offered flowers to the 27th Anniversary of the National Day of the Federation of Russia (June 12, 1990 – June 12, 2017).
Speaking at the ceremony with many congratulations to the dear friend Russia on their meaningful occasion, Vice Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Huỳnh Cách Mạng emphasized that the relationship between Vietnam and Russia has been developing strongly on many fields including cultural activities, education, science and technology, ect especially when the relationship between the two countries has been upgraded to Comprehensive-Strategic-Partners in 2012. Also, the good relationship between HCMC and many Russian cities/provinces has been growing as well.  At the moment, HCMC has good connection with 5 Russian cities/provinces including Sverdlovsk, Saint Petersburg, Vladivostock, the capital and Moskva.
In 2016, import from Russia to HCMC has increased 58% as compared with 2015, equivalent to $146 million. Vice Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Huỳnh Cách Mạng highly appreciated the efforts and contribution of the Consul General of the Federation of Russia in HCMC Alexey Vladimirovich Popov in keeping the good relationship between HCMC and Russia. He’s hoping that Mr. Consul General will continue to uphold being the effective bridge between HCMC and Russia, and thus tightening the Comprehensive-Strategic-Partnership between Vietnam and Russia.
Consul General of the Federation of Russia to HCMC Alexey Vladimirovich Popov went through the achievements in the Vietnam – Russia relationship and emphasized that this traditional friendship has always been developing on top of a very firm foundation throughout history. Recently, Free-Trade Agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and Eurasian Economic Union together with senior-level visits between the two countries have contributed to flourish the relationship of the two countries.
