On the morning of July 2nd, 2017, the participants in the FOSCO Oversea Summer Program departed for the United States. This is the third year that FIS students have made the trip across to the States.
Every year, FOSCO International School (FIS) organizes an Overseas Summer Program for students from 7 to 16 years old to experience the richly developed education system in the US.
The program allows the children to experience and explore the US and its culture, build their confidence, and practice their English skills, as well as their self-reliance. They will grow and learn through all their senses as they immerse themselves into modern culture and life styles during the two weeks in the States at two big cities: Los Angeles and San Francisco. In addition to their academic and cultural programs, students will also have the chance to travel to Disneyland and Universal Studios, as well as going on picnics and camping. This is also an opportunity for them to integrate into world culture and prepare for studying abroad in the future.
FIS also organizes a special program for parents to accompany their children, including shopping trips in these cities.
