On the 10th of June, 2016, FOSCO International School – a unit of Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO) – successfully held The Year-End Concert marking the last day of the school year 2015-16. At this ceremony, FOSCO International School had the hornor to have the presence of Mr. Hồ Trọng Trí – Member of the FOSCO Board of Members; Ms. Huỳnh Thị Tuyết Nhung – Deputy General Director of FOSCO; Ms. Hồ Thị Quỳnh Liên – Deputy Director of the Accounting Department; Mr. Nguyễn Tấn Đạt – Second Secretary of the Company Youth Union; Ms. La Ánh Mai – Former Principal of FOSCO International School, together with the presence of all the beloved parents and students of FOSCO International School.
The Year-end Concert was a successful closing ceremony for the school year 2015-16 showing how great the effort was as the teachers, parents, students and staff have tried really hard to put in and how great the results were as we all together worked on and achieved. The school and families are both so happy to see how much the children, our students, have grown up and developed through out the year, not only in academic subjects but also in building their confidence and skills.
The ceremony took place in a very cheerful atmosphere, everyone was really friendly, happy, and enthusiastic as they took part in performing on stage. All of the students, teachers and staff appeared to give a great impression on the audience that day with their lively and creative performances under the theme “Movies and Memories”. The school year passed by with so many unforgetable moments, so many artworks hand-made by the students which showed how much they love the school and friends.
The closing ceremony was also the time when the students of Grade 5 and of Preparatory Classes were given a Graduation Certificate, marking that they have finished one of their education stages and are ready for the next. Saying goodbye to FOSCO International School, our young graduates experienced quite a mixture of many different feelings: happy but also sad, fulfilled but also nervous as looking forwards to the next stage of their future.
Founded in 1997, FOSCO International School has always been able to maintain its image and integrety in quality education and care for the children. Many generations of students have graduated from FOSCO International School and continued to achieve great success in the other schools. Many parents and students have come back to say thanks and show us their appreciation for what we have done. In 2015, we had the honor to welcome an old student of ours to come back and visit us. She’s at the moment one of the best students in Medical Major at Harvard University (one of the best universities in the US). The family emphasized the importance in good education among the very first years of their child which helped create a firm and quality base for the child to continue growing in the future.
At the end of the ceremony, FOSCO International School sent their big thanks to the company Leaders, to the parents who always put their trust in the school and support us. FOSCO International School also sent bouquets of flowers to the teachers and staff for their great contribution to the successful year. We all wish to keep up with the good work and continue to grow in the future.
