FOSCO Representative attended and offered flowers to the musical show of Doina Gorjului – Romania

Doina Gorjului – Romania’s musical show which just took place on March 20 at Ben Thanh Theatre was one of cultural exchange and cooperative activities between Vietnam- Romania, organised by Embassy of Romania in Vietnam in collaboration with HCMC Union of Friendship Organisations and Vietnam - Romania Friendship Association in HCMC on the occasion of celebrating the International Francophonie Day and Vietnam - Romania Friendship Day.
Earlier in the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Huynh Cach Mang – Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee had met with the representatives from the Romanian Art Delegation of Doina Gorjului. At the meeting, Mr. Huynh Cach Mang expressed his thanks for the heartfelt support that Romania had offered to Vietnam before during the years of fighting for its freedom and reunification as well as offers to Vietnam today as the country is building and developing.
Thanking HCMC Leaders for the reception, Mr. Valeriu Arteni, a representative of Romanian Embassy in Vietnam said that the visit and performance of Doina Gorjului in HCMC is an activity to turn the commitment on cultural cooperation between the two countries into actions as the two country leaders had agreed when the Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos paid a visit to Vietnam in 2016.
