Christmas celebration 2016 at FOSCO International School

On the morning of December 16, 2016, FOSCO International School organized Christmas Celebration 2016 at Capella ParkView, number 3 Đặng Văn Sâm Street, Ward 9, Phú Nhuận District. Attending the celebration were Ms. Huỳnh Thị Tuyết Nhung – FOSCO Deputy General Director, many parents, students and all of the teachers and staff of FOSCO International School.
The celebration started with a song called “The Friendship Gift” performed by the students of FOSCO Internal School. Then following was the opening remarks by Mr. Darren Paine_Academic Director and a charity held to raise a fund for the less fortunate children. The charity gained a lot of support from the attendants, parents, teachers and staff at the celebration. At the same time, students of Grade 4 and 5 sold cookies and lemonde made by themselves to support the fund raising. The money collected was given to Mr. Đặng Quang Thuần – Representative of Minh Tâm Charity, who will on behalf of FOSCO International School deliver many gifts to the less fortunate children in the Middle part of Vietnam – This charitable action is one that follows the anual traditional Christmas spirit of the school.
All of the teachers, parents, students and school staff really enjoyed the lovely performaces that were well-practiced before. It was a new idea that parents could join in the performaces this school year and it made the Christmas Celebration 2016 even more special, creating a more lively and interactive atmosphere this time. At the end of the celebration, Ms. Trần Thị Thanh Trúc (Acting Principal of FOSCO International School) extended many thanks and congratulations to everyone. The celebration ended with a lot of fun when Santa Clause suddenly came and gave presents to the students. Christmas Celebration 2016 was successfully concluded, leaving everyone with lots of meaningful moments and memories for the last holidays of 2016 and ready to welcome the new year 2017.
