Leaders of FOSCO attend celebration of the 48th anniversary of the National day of the Laos PDR in Ho Chi Minh City

On the 29th of Novemebr 2023, Mr. Ho Trong Tri – Deputy Director of FOSCO attended and offered his felicitation at the celebration of the 48th anniversary of the Laos PDR’s National Day (2nd of December 1975 – 2nd of December 2023) hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations.

 
Mr. Phonesy Bounmixay – Consul-General of Laos PDR to Ho Chi Minh City remarked at the event: “My gratitude towards the Communist Party Committee, Government and people of Ho Chi Minh City”. The Consul-General elaborated on the historical significance of the Laotian National Day (2nd December 1975) – the day the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party fulfilled its historical mandate, eradicating the old order, ushering in a new era where the people of Laos can be the master of their country. For the past 48 years, under the wise and innovative leadership of of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, the tribal people of Laos has overcome many challenges and difficulties, the socio-political situation in Lao is stable, national defense is maintained, the living standard of the people is improving day by day.
Throughout the 48 year journey, depsite the constantly changin global trends and situations, the great friendship, solidarity and comprehensive partnership between Lao and Vietnam is continuously developed by generations upon generations of leaders from both countries into a priceless possession of both peoples, an unyielding truth guiding the growth of both nations, the deciding factor in the victory of both revolutions. Today, this friendship is ever deepening across all relevant areas such as politics, economics, commerce, science and technology… bringing in even more positive results for the two countries.
Mr. Ngo Minh Chau – Deputy Chairman of the the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Laos Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City offered his congratulations: “Our warmest felicitation for the great achievements, the historical significance achieved by the tribal people of Laos for the past 48 years under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and the Laotian Government. The people of Vietnam has ever been proud to count Laos as our loyal and faithful friend, who stood side by side with us through the great challenges of national development and defense. Manay thanks to the Party, the Government and the people of Laos for the heartfelt sentiments and valuable assitance to Vietnam throughout our process of growing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Along with our brethren  across the nation, the people of Ho Chi Minh City vowed to continue growing this spectacular friendship with our brothers and sisters from Laos, for the benefit of both peoples, for peace cooperation and social advance ment in the regiona and across the world. ”
