Mr. Ruslan Varankou – Consul-General of the Republic of Belarus to Ho Chi Minh City, has received the award of Master Chef at the event “Diplomats can Cook V – 2023” hosted by the Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO) on the 28th of October 2023
Mr. Ruslan Varankou became the first Consul-General to Ho Chi Minh City on the 28th of April 2022. Before this posting, he has distinguished himself at numerous important positions in the Belarusian Diplomatic Service in the United States of America and the United Nations. In recent times, under his leadership, the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus has proactively participated in many activities organizaed by the Consular Corps in Ho Chi Minh City, effectively bolstering the growth of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Vietnam.
At the event “Diplomats can Cook V - 2023”, the team representing the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus has prepared and presented traditional and tasty dishes such as:
- Appetizer: Canape with Belarusian bacon, black rye bread and pickles.
- Main Course: Potato Draniki with sour cream and mushroom sauce.
- Dessert: Baked apples stuffed with honey, walnuts, and raisins.
Besides the “Master Chef 2023” award, the Consulate General of Belarus also received the prize for “Best decoration”.
