General Director Of FOSCO's Official Visit To Agencies Of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs To Inaugurate The Year 2024

In accordance to the operational plan for the month of January 2024 and the approval of the Board of Members, on the 4th of January 2024, Mdm. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang – General Director of FOSCO led a delegation on a series of official visits to agencies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hanoi from the 4th to the 7th of January 2024.

The agencies and departments offered heartfelt congratulations for the results achieved by FOSCO during the previous year, with departmental leaders expressing much attention and sympathy for the operation of FOSCO in the upcoming year of 2024 and pledge to provide support as needed.

At the official visit, the Foreign Affairs of Localities Department committed to introduce FOSCO to the provincial department of external relations to facilitate future collaboration in prosecuting the common political assignments. Furthermore, The Foreign Affairs of Localities Department also inform FOSCO on the upcoming Local Foreign Affairs Conference in 2024, with the tentative location of Ninh Binh province.

In addition, The Service Department for Diplomatic Corps reaffirm their commitment to cooperate with FOSCO on the implementation of Directive 152/2020/ND-CP and Directive 70/2023/ND-CP in the South. Mr. Hoang Thuy Duong (Formerly the Department Head of the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps) – Consul – General of Vietnam to Houston - the USA extended his invitation to FOSCO for an official visit with the Consulate General and connect with American businesses in service of further development of FOSCO’s educational capacity in the new era as well as building capacity for the service of Diplomatic Corps via the cooperation with the US State Department Office of Foreign Mission.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry also affirmed and committed to providing guidance and evaluation for FOSCO’s request of awarding the Ministry’s Certificate of Commendation for select individual and departments of FOSCO at the 45th anniversary of the Company’s founding.
