The Opening Ceremony for the New School Year 2016-2017 at FOSCO International school

On Monday the 22nd of August, 2016, together with many other schools in Vietnam, FOSCO International school (one among many services of the Service Company to Foreign Missions FOSCO) successfully held the Opening Ceremony for the New School Year 2016-17. FOSCO International School had the honor to have Mr. Hồ Trọng Trí – a Member of the Member Board of FOSCO and Ms. Huỳnh Thị Tuyết Nhung – Deputy General Director of FOSCO joining with all of the school staff and teachers, parents and students in this Opening Ceremony. The Ceremony was filled with fun, with happy faces and warm hearts as there was a lot of exciting activities for students of all ages to join so that new ones can quickly get to know each other and old students to feel the high spirit of going “back-to-school” like the Spelling Showdown, Basketball Bounce, Musical Chairs, Blowing Bubbles, Toppling Towers, Fun Temporary Tottoos, The-First-Day Photo Booth, Shaping Balloons, Creating Robots, etc. After those warm-up activities, students were introduced to their new Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher(s) through a creative activity that could show the different class-theme names and the different clapping patterns of each class, making everyone involve themselves in. The final touch was meaningful as all of the Lead Teachers role-played in a small skit namely The Eagle. The message of the skit was to remind everyone that there’s a potential in all of us and if we keep believing in ourselves, if we keep trying our best, we will make the potential become real. To wrap up the Ceremony, Ms. Trần Thị Thanh Trúc_Acting Principal expressed her wish that everyone can maintain good health and that we all will achieve greatly in the new school year.
