The 71st Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia

On the morning of the 24th of August 2016, at the Friendship House, the 71st anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia was solemnly held.
At the event, Mr Lê Tôn Thanh – Chairman of the Friendship Organization between Vietnam and Indonesia in HCMC said in his speech: Indonesia is one of our important investors and trade partners. Since the day the 2 countries established their diplomatic relations on the  30th of December 1955, the traditional friendship relationship has been developing very well and effective in all fields, even more so when the 2 countries established the strategic partnership in 2013.

The turnover of bilateral trade exchange between Vietnam and Indonesia has been sustainably developing, reaching $5,4 billion in 2015, in which, HCMC contributed a great deal in the turnover of bilateral trade exchange with Indonesia. The target of both 2 countries is to push the turnover of bilateral trade exchange to $10 billion in 2018.
In HCMC, The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia is situated at number 18 Phùng Khắc Khoan Str., District 1. This is one of the most secure and best locations that is provided by FOSCO as its Headquarter.
At this joyful event, FOSCO sent flowers and representatives with compliments to congratulate the anniversary celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
