FOSCO Visits and Works with US NGO, Room to Read

On October 26, 2017, Mr. Ho Trong Tri, Deputy General Director, led a delegation of FOSCO to visit a US Non-Government Organization( NGO), Room to Read.
This is in connection to the implementation of the plan to work with NGOs in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ms. Nguyen Dieu Nuong, Head of Room to Read Office in Vietnam, introduced the activities of the organization as well as programs and projects that are being implemented in ​​Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.
The delegation pointed out the regulations related to the management of Vietnamese workers in NGOs as well as introduced FOSCO's services to Room to Read.
At the meeting, both organizations also found opportunities for cooperation in management of Vietnamese labor who are working for Room to Read.
In the future, FOSCO will continue to have delegations to visit foreign non-governmental organizations to gain access to NGOs in the area, guide and provide regulations and labor laws for Vietnamese employees to organizations of NGOs.
Through these meetings, FOSCO will have the opportunity to listen to the comments of the organizations that continue to gradually strengthen the bond between the NGOs and FOSCO for greater management and quality of service in meeting the growing needs of NGOs in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the provinces in the South in general.
