FOSCO Trade Union organised a warm gathering to show appreciation to the families whose members are war invalids or martyrs on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27th

4.00 pm on July 27th 2017, at FOSCO Headquarter, 124 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, W6, D3, FOSCO Trade Union Executive Board organised a warm gathering and gave presents to the employees who are War invalids, or children of the Vietnamese heroic Mothers, or children of War martyrs on the  occasion of the 70th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

Attending were FOSCO Party’s Committee, Board of Members, Board of General Directors, Representatives of Youth Union and the employees who are War invalids or children of War martyrs, working at FOSCO or foreign organizations: Consulate General of Cambodia to HCMC, Rieckermann GmbH Representative Office, Consulate General of Korea to HCMC.
In the sacred atmosphere of the War invalids and martyrs Day, Mr. Ngô Anh Tuấn – Secretary of FOSCO Party’s Committee, Chairman of FOSCO Board of Members expressed his gratitude and passionately recalled the meaningful trips he took part in together with the company employees over the past years, visiting historical places where many national heroes bravely fought and sacreficed for the country’s freedom: Trường Sơn Martyrs Cemetery, Côn đảo Martyrs Cemetery, Ancient Citadel of Quảng Trị, Heroic Mother Suốt Statue, Mausoleum of General Võ Nguyên Giáp, etc. According to Mr. Tuan,  working hard and living by the law, always improving ourselves towards the better, is the best way to show appreciation to the national martyr heroes.
Responding to FOSCO Leaders’ advice, as listening to heartfelt stories about the heroic father and mother of the other employees, Mr. Nguyễn Tấn Đạt – Secretary of FOSCO Youth Union, on behalf of the young generation, made a promise to keep up with the meaningful tradition, always improve the activities that show appreciation to the former generations, taking the initiative, bringing everyone together, enhancing faith to overcome difficulties, developing always and being creative as accomplishing missions given to the Youth Union in this new era; all to contribute to preserving the revolutionary legacy, enriching the patriotic tradition from the previous generations.
