Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO) hosted "Diplomats can cook IV - 2022"

On 29/10/2022, Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO) hosted the event "Diplomats can cook IV - 2022" at Van Thanh Tourist Village. This event has attracted 20 cooking teams including Consulate Generals, Consulates from: Consular Club in Ho Chi Minh City, Kingdom of Cambodia, Republic of Estonia, Republic of France, Hellenic Republic, Hungary, Republic of India, Japan, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Republic of Indonesia, Kingdom of Thailand & External Relations Departments in provinces, cities: Can Tho, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs in Ho Chi Minh City.
Madam Vu Thi Bich Ngoc, Honorary President of the ASEAN Community Women's Circle in Ha Noi, Spouse of Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, the Patroness of the event "Diplomats can cook IV - 2022" said that: "In Vietnamese culture, cuisine is associated with family affection and the Vietnamese meal is always a very simple and warm image. The event this year is not only an opportunity to exchange and introduce culinary culture but also a message about a peaceful future, friendship, and cooperation among nations all around the world.
Speaking at the Prize Announcement ceremony, according to Ms. Tri Agus Sofjan, Vice President of the Consular Club in Ho Chi Minh City, Spouse of the Consul General of Indonesia in Vietnam, this event is an opportunity for 20 cooking teams to share together the culinary culture of each nation, resulting in a closer and stronger relationship between countries.
Furthermore, the event is highly regarded in terms of expertise due to the participation of 5 Vietnamese and international culinary experts who are members of the Judges. In which, Artisan Bui Thi Suong, Deputy Director of Vietnam Culinary Conservation, Research and Development Center holds the position of Chief Examiner.

The event "Diplomats can cook IV - 2022" took place successfully and left many great emotions for all participants. As a result, we can see diplomats from a different perspective, they are not only as talented person in the field of foreign affairs, but also as skilled chefs and excellent culinary experts. Each dish displayed demonstrates the diplomats’ talent and sophistication, as well as a message to introduce the culinary culture of their country to international friends. All the participants welcomed and highly appreciate the Organizing Committee for a well-prepared event, hoping that the event "Diplomats can cook" hosted by FOSCO will be an iconic event in order to maintain a meaningful playground for all delegates from provinces, cities of Vietnam and international friends.
