Deputy General Director Ho Trong Tri congratulated Vietnamese staff receiving First-class Friendship Orders from the Cambodian Royal Government

On the evening of May 19^th 2020, Mr. Ho Trong Tri, Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO)’s Deputy General Director, attended the Medal Awarding Ceremony and presented congratulatory flowers to Vietnamese staff working at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Ho Chi Minh City.
In his speech, Consul General Sok Dareth appreciated the responsibility and dedication of Mr. Vo Thanh Tuan and Ms. Phan Thi Cuu during their services at the Consulate General. The Consul General and his spouse officially presented First-class Friendship Orders from the Royal Government of Cambodia and garlands to these individuals in the ceremony.
The two employees honored with this medal started working at the Consulate General 40 years ago through the introduction of FOSCO. Mr. Vo Thanh Tuan has been working as an interpreter since 1978. Meanwhile, Ms. Phan Thi Cuu  has been serving the offices and families of the Consulate Generals from 1982 until now.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs, Tay Ninh Department of Foreign Affairs, Vietnam - Cambodia Central Friendship Association, Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations and Vietnamese enterprises doing business in Cambodia. After the ceremony, the Consulate General hosted a cultural exchange program, in which charitable donations from Vietnamese entrepreneurs were given to support Cambodian people during COVID-19 pandemic.
