On 4th and 5th of June 2020, Mr. Tran Quang Thao, Chairman of Board of Members, paid a courtesy visit to the departments under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Hanoi on the occasion of his new assignment at FOSCO.
On the afternoon of 4th of June 2020, the delegation of FOSCO Company worked with the leaders of the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps (SDDC) at its headquarters. On behalf of the department, Mr. Nguyen Trac Ba – Head of SDDC introduced organizational structure, trade union activities, as well as the facilities and the tasks of performing foreign affairs duties in Hanoi entrusted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition, Mr. Ba shared about strengthening the cooperation between FOSCO and SDDC in recent years, and expressed his desire to extend the existing good relationship.
On the morning of 5th of June 2020, at the new building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation of FOSCO continued to work with Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh – Chief Inspector of MOFA, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long – Director of the Department of Provincial Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hoang Minh Son – Head of Administration and Finance Department.
Mr. Tran Quang Thao greeted the staff and expected the agencies would create favorable conditions for mutual work and coordinate well with FOSCO in completing the tasks assigned by MOFA. In addition, General Director Nguyen Tuong Minh reported on the operation of the company and looked forward to welcoming the agencies’ delegates during their visits in Ho Chi Minh City.
On this occasion, FOSCO delegates also visited Ambassador Nguyen Nguyet Nga – Vice Chair of the Vietnam National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation and Honourary Vice President of ASEAN Women's Circle. Ambassador Nguyen Nguyet Nga expressed her pleasure to welcome the delegation and congratulated Mr. Tran Quang Thao on his new assignment at FOSCO. Her Excellency highly appreciated FOSCO’s external relation activities and suggested that FOSCO should continue to promote its strength and potential in organizing events for the consular delegations, specifically the event “Diplomats can cook”.
