Social & Charitable Work volunteered by the company Youth Union in Phung Hiep-Hau Giang

To keep up with the spirit of always volunteering and helping the community, contributing to the society especially the children who are less fortunate than others, the company Youth Union tried to create an event in which the children could have fun and feel cared. On September 10 and 11, 2016, the company Youth Union, together with the Social & Charity Work Group in HCMC, the Youth Union at HCMC Union of Friendship Organisations, the Youth Union at Medical Insurance Audit group 1&2 _a branch of the City Social Insurance, the Youth Union from Ben Thanh Ward and the Youth Union from Tan Phuoc Hung, Hung Hiep, Hau Giang, organized a festive event on the occasion of celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival namely “Moonlight Shining Bright – Shining Love In My Hometown 2016” for less fortunate children in Tan Phuoc Hung, Hung Hiep, Hau Giang. The event offered 100 gifts for the children who achieved the title “Hard-working, diligent, and well-behaved” and at the same time achieved really good scores in the academic year 2015-16. The event also brought about 100 gifts to less fortunate families in the area, offered free hair-cuts, food kiosks, fun activities, traditional games, inexpensive clothing shops, etc. Above all, there were 700 lanterns, 700 mooncakes, and 2100 candles being given out so that the children could enjoy the festival to the fullest.
