Youth Month 2019

On the morning of March 4, 2019, FOSCO’s Communist Youth Union (FOSCO’s CYU) held a ceremony to launch Youth Month  2019. In celebration, members will be able to participate in lively and practical activities such as blood donating, reviewing traditions to celebrate the 88th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, organizing training courses for the members to improve their English communicational skills and adding new members to the organization.
Following the success of blood donation activities in the past years, along with the promotion of volunteerism, sharing with the community by donating blood, FOSCO’s CYU collaborated with the District 3’s Red Cross to organize Blood Donation Day immediately after the launching ceremony at the Company’s Head Quarter, 124 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ward 6, District 3. The activity mobillized FOSCO’s staff, Youth Union members and especially the representative offices, foreign agencies located in Ho Chi Minh City to join enthusiastically. Nearly 50 units of blood were collected to replenish the Blood Reserve Fund for the City, contributing to the emergency service for patients’ treatments.
This is FOSCO’s annual practical activity to propagandize for the employees to understand the good sense of voluntary blood donation, while honoring the tradition of loving, supporting each other, expressing enthusiasm, willingness to share with the community. Fifty units of collected blood are not just numbers, but also hearts of all volunteers for the patients who are in need.
Through this, FOSCO’s CYU would like to thank the compassionate hearts of the staff, clients, FOSCO’s partners who enthusiastically participated in the activity. Hopefully FOSCO will always receive the support and companionship of everyone in this activity in the future.
