FOSCO Tennis Tournament II - 2017

As to celebrate the 38^th anniversary of the founding of FOSCO (July 9^th 1979 - July 9^th 2017), on the 8^th of July 2017 FOSCO organized “FOSCO Tennis Tournament II - 2017” with the goals to create more opportunities for Consular Officers in HCMC and the Vietnamese working in the field to befriend, exchange knowledge and experience through playing sports.
Attending the Opening ceremony was Mr. Tran Vinh Tuyen, Member of the Standing Committee of HCMC Party’s Committee, Vice Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee; Mr. Huynh Hiep Si, Deputy Secretary of HCMC Party’s Committee of Business Sector; Mr. Huynh Minh Thien, Chairman of HCMC Union of Friendship Organisations; Leaders of different Departments of Cities/Provinces in Southern Vietnam. From the international side, there was Mr. Richard Bale, Consul General of Canada to HCMC; Mr. Somxay Sanamoun, Consul General of the Lao’s People Democratic Republic; Madam Maria Mizonova, Consul of the Russian Federation to HCMC. There were representatives of the sponsors including Van Vuong, Minh Phuong, Son Kim, Sato and the media.
In the afternoon was the Prize Announcement Ceremony which had the presence of Mr. Jean Lesly Benoit, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti, and Actress-Businesswoman Ly Nha Ky.

In Men’s Doubles for Leaders:
1^st Place: Trần Hồng Đức + Phan Mạnh Tuệ (Đà Nẵng Department of Foreign Affairs).
2^nd Place: Hồ Trọng Trí + Vương Thế Hạnh (FOSCO).
3^rd Place: Nguyễn Hoàng Tuấn + Nguyễn Minh Sơn (Sơn Kim)
                Nguyễn Hoàng Học + Nguyễn Đức Trọng (Vĩnh Long Department of Foreign Affairs).

In Men’s Doubles for Consular Officers:
1^st Place: Võ Thanh Nam + Trần Thái Chân (Tiền Giang Department of Foreign Affairs).
2^nd Place: Đỗ Văn Mười + Trần Vinh Nguyên (Consulate of the Republic of Estonia to HCMC).
3^rd Place: Trần Thanh Hải + Đào Việt Hưng (HCMC Department of Foreign Affairs).
                Trịnh Thanh Phong + Phạm Hoàng Kim (Viet - Czech Friendship Association).

In Mixed Doubles :
1^st Place: Phạm Tuấn Khanh + Lê Thị Kim Phụng (Hậu Giang People’s Committee).
