FOSCO Tennis Championship III - 2018

Celebrating the 39^th anniversary of the founding of FOSCO (July 9^th 1979 - 2018), on Saturday the 7^th of July 2018, Service Company to Foreign Missions (FOSCO) hosted “FOSCO Tennis Championship III - 2018” with the aims to enhance the good friendship, solidarity, exchange experience and knowledge as well and culture and sports among Consular Missions in HCMC and different Foreign Affairs Departments in the South of Vietnam.
Attending the event were Mr. Mai Bá Hùng - Deputy Director General of the Department of Culture and Sports in HCMC; Mr. Huỳnh Minh Thiện - Chairman of HCMC Union of Friendship Organisations; Mr. Phùng Công Dũng - Chairman of the Committee of the overseas Vietnamese; Mr. Huỳnh Hiệp Sĩ - Deputy Secretary of the Party’s Committee of Business Sector in HCMC; Leaders of different Departments/Bureaus/Offices in HCMC and Southern Provinces. From Consular Corps, there were Mr. Somxay Sanamoune - Consul General of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic; Madam Maria Mizonova - Acting Consul of the Russian Federation; Mr. Frank De Laat - Deputy Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The event was also proud to present all of its generous sponsors including the Consulate of the republic of South Africa, Minh Phương Arts, Sơn Kim Land, Sato Company.
On the evening of the same day, the Prize Announcement Ceremony took place in a lively and friendly ambiance. Especially, the ceremony was honored to receive the presence of Ambassador Phạm Sanh Châu - Assistant to Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Somxay Sanamoune - Consul General of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Mr. Vincent Floreani - Consul General of the Republic of France, Mr. Shaun Fitzgerald - Consular Officer from the Consulate General of Australia, Mr. Arild Haugan - Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Norway, Mr. Claudio Schuftan - Honorary Consul of the Republic of Chile, and Madam Lý Nhã Kỳ - Honorary Consul of Romania.
