FOSCO Leaders attended and extended congratulations to the celebration of the 68th anniversary of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China

On the evening of September 22^nd Chairman of FOSCO Board of Members Ngo Anh Tuan attended and gave flowers to congratulate the celebration of the 68th anniversary of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China (October 1^st 1949 - October 1^st 2017) held by Consulate General of China to Ho Chi Minh City.

Giving a speech at the ceremony, Consul General of China to HCMC Chen De Hai stated that over the past years, China has accelerated the comprehensive reform, developing in depth. In the first 6 months of 2017; Chinese GDP grew 6.9%. In recent years, the contribution rate of China to the world economic growth stayed steady at 30%. The relationship between China and Vietnam has been being good; exchange and cooperation have been more and more enhanced, especially in the fields of economics and trading. Since 2004, China has been a big trading partner of Vietnam. Vietnam was China’s biggest trading partner among the countries in ASEAN in 2016.
Consul General of China to HCMC Chen De Hai emphasized that China considers the relationship with Vietnam very important, he strongly hopes that, together with Vietnam, both can enhance trust in each other on politics, deepen realistic cooperation, broaden the range of activities, contributing to developing the cooperation, the sustainable and steady growth of the two countries.
Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen stressed that the relationship between Vietnam and China is the comprehensive strategic partnership which is always highly valued by the Parties, the Governments and the Peoples of the two countries. At the present, China is the top trading partner of Vietnam and one of 10 biggest foreign investors into Vietnam. In return, Vietnam is an important economic and trading partner of China. As for HCMC, the investing and trading environment has always been improved, in order to welcome more foreign partners in all fields, including China. Up to August 2017, China is the 18th biggest investor out of 92 countries and territories who invested in HCMC with 185 effective projects, accounting for the capital of USD 187 million.
On behalf of HCMC authorities, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen wished that China will be more and more developed, the Chinese people will be more and more happy and prosperous, wished that the comprehensive, cooperative and strategic partnership between Vietnam and China will always be consolidated and developed.
