Fosco International School presents gifts to disadvantaged children in Dak Nong on the occasion of Lunar New Year - Year of The Dog 2018

Thanks to the kind hearts of pupils, parents and teachers, FOSCO International School( FIS)  raised over 32 million VND for impoverished children in Dak Nong Province to help them enjoy a warm Tet. Pupils in Grades 3, 4 and 5 made an amazing effort, making cookies, slime, lemonade, and ginger beer to sell after school and at a basketball match with Saigon Star School. Their products were sold to the parents, teachers and students.FOSCO Company also raised and contributed additional money for the charity fund, bringing the grand total to a hefty 100 million VND. On 24th of February, 2018, a delegation of members from FOSCO Company and FIS went to Dak Nong Province to donate a house for one poor homeless family and hand out the gifts to the unfortunate mountainous villagers on the occasion of Vietnamese New Year- Year of The Dog 2018. On this occasion, FIS staff distributed 200 packs of clothes and gifts to the needy families and children there.The donations were all very well received by disadvantaged villagers in the remote town and everyone expressed their deep gratitude to the students, teachers and staff of FIS.
