FOSCO General Director attends the 25th International Charity Bazaar by Consular Club in HCMC

On the morning of November 3^rd 2018, at ADORA Conference Center, FOSCO General Director Nguyễn Tương Minh attended and joined in the ribban-cutting opening ceremony of the 25^th International Charity Bazaar hosted by Consular Club in HCMC.
This year’s bazaar is a special occasion for the Consular Club as they are celebrating the 25^th anniversary of its foundation as well as the continued financial support to charity organizations which strive to provide humanitarian aid to disadvantaged people in Vietnam. The Consular Club focuses especially on aid for the orphans, the disabled, the elderly and the minority groups. All Consular Club members have been devoting their time to work towards improving the quality of life of the disadvantaged people in Vietnam.
Last year’s Bazaar raised more than $70,000 and with this money, the club was able to support 12 projects including education scholarships for children and young adults, treatments for blindness in infants, infrastructure to deliver fresh water and the creation of an aquaponic system to create a sustainable food sources for an orphanage.
This year, besides shopping FOSCO has contributed VND5,000,000 to the Consular Club’s charity fund. Madam Chistine Floreani, President of the Consular Club in HCMC, directly received and thanked FOSCO for the support.
The ceremony took place in a solemn and meaningful ambiance and the charity activities were concluded at 3pm on the same day.
