FOSCO Delegation attending the 4th Food Festival in Hanoi

On December 11, in Van Phuc Diplomatic Corps Zone, Hanoi, Service Department of Diplomatic Corps (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) organised an event called Food Festival – IV, 2016. Present at this festival were 39 representatives from different Embassies to Vietnam, 2 representatives from Foreign Cultural Centres in Vietnam, local Departments of Foreign Relations, units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, many businesses/companies and others.
The Food Festival – IV, 2016 was not only a chance for different countries to get to know each other, enhancing the understanding between them, introducing Vietnamese tourism to our friends all over the world through the very important links which are Embassies and Foreign Cultural Centres in Vietnam, but also the chance for Vietnamese businesses to promote their brands and business focuses/services to international friends, the guests attending the event.
Some main activities at the Food Festival – IV, 2016 are: Presenting some Vietnamese specialties to others, vice and versa, others’ to the Vietnamese people, the food can be prepared in advance or right at the event; Cultural performances/ Cultural exchanges; Handmade craft-works and souvenirs that can represent the local businesses.
Especially, at this event, the Organising Board could collect groups’ and individuals’ contributive ideas for charity works and then through the Organising Board, people can offer chairities/ donate money to the less-fortunate children in Kindergatens and Primary Schools, and offer 30 charity sponsorship packages to the less-fortunate households in Vu Quang - Ha Tinh.
